Steinar hansen
Steinar Hansen comes from Trondheim and lives in Oslo. He was educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, SHKS, and Gerrit Rielvelt Academi (Amsterdam). Steinar Hansen's idiom is expressive and lush. With a strong and confident use of colours and exciting abstracted figuration, the artist creates depth, light, and moods in his paintings.

Hansen has exhibited at Galleri Ismene in Trondheim; Galleri Brandstrupi Moss, Haugesund billedgalleri, Nils Aas kunstnerverksted, Møre og Romsdal kunstnersenter, Galleri F15 in Moss; Ram galleri and Galleri Norske grafikere in Oslo.

He has been purchased by Trøndelag kommune, Trøndelag fylkeskommune, Sparebank 1 in Trondheim and LO Sør-Trøndelag.
